We have been looking into practices around dementia and sensory issues with our residents reluctance to bath traditionally. We trialled Nilaqua Towel Off Shampoo's and Body Washes as the eco option and this was hugely successful, showing a reduction in stress, aggression and time. 2022: Gemma attended our Dementia Champions Study Day in March this year. She provided full training on bathing experiences. Explained the difficulties people often have with bathing and how to overcome them. It was great for the staff to learn new methods not just on Nilaqua but other ways of approaching resistance.
